DESCRIPTION: ORIGINAL David of Dalkeith cast aluminium pump-top ram as featured on ABC Collectors series. Suitable for gravity feed pump. Cast aluminium construct. Many modern rams have been cast for restoration of pumps. Original rams are very collectible. This ram has been over painted a number of times over the years. It features a fixing screw to the left hand side at centre, a locating pin at front through his nose, and another locating pin at rear through his testicle sack. Pump mount screw holes and threads are visible in rear feet. . Providence: This Ram was acquired in the early 90's. In 2007 the Ram was transported to the ABC studios located in Hobart to appear in The Collectors program. Inspite of the careful packing job carried out by the ABC for his safe return the Ram suffered a fracture to his left hand rear leg as seen in the photos. The fractured leg mates happily at the break point and the Ram is able to balance and stand on all four feet.
